Do I need to take out car rental insurance?
If you already have auto insurance for your own vehicle, contact your insurer to check if it covers the rental. If this is not the case, or you do not have a car, you will need to purchase insurance through the rental agency.
What do I need to rent a car?
To collect the vehicle you have reserved online from the agency, you will need to bring your driving license, proof of identity (identity card or passport), as well as a valid credit card in order to block a security deposit during vehicle rental. Please note, this credit card must be in the name of the driver of the car.
Do all car rental companies require a deposit?
Although this is not systematic, the majority of car rental companies require a deposit or a security deposit for the rental. You will need an international credit card to complete this transaction.
